“Designs byEM is a truly multifaceted design company”

Right now, I am primarily trying to focus on web design and graphic design.
That being said… I have a lot of brainpower to offer ↓

I have decorated interiors of homes & businesses, designed basement & backyard layouts, re-organized offices/pantrys/kitchens/garages, finished commissioned art pieces, curated or planned multiple different kinds of events & home parties, and much more.

I love helping people turn their vision into reality, especially when they might not have the skills or tools to do it themselves. That’s also part of why I love what I do so much - because I am also given the opportunity to TEACH people how to do these things themselves, so they can go off on their own (if they choose to). Nevertheless, your idea should be realized to its full potential and should look exactly how you envisioned it! :)

Like I said, I have a lot that I can help with and there are many different routes to take as far as accomplishing your design goals. I have tried my best to outline most the things I can help with below or in my “What I Do” tab, but if what you’re trying to accomplish doesn’t look directly outlined on my site, just message me!   • I know what you’re thinking… “I’ll get around to it”.

    Everybody does it and these “impossible tasks” can get SO overwhelming and (from an interior decorating point of view) your space is SOO important. Making sure that your space feels tidy to you is essential to making sure that the energy in your home is clean and efficient. I talk all the time about why it’s so important to have your environment feel neat to you, and theres a bunch of reasons I’m sure YOU want it to be neat haha! So let me know how I can help :)

    I can do/have done: closets, pantrys, garages, whole rooms/offices, filing cabinets, play rooms, and more!!

  • “Event” is in quotes because it doesn’t matter how big or small the gathering is. I can help you with EVERYTHING whether you need to get a venue or want to do it at your space, actually DESIGNING the layout of said space, designing invites, and whatever else you need help with. Think of me as your personal event assistant :)

    I can do/have done: Backyard BBQ get-together, high-school graduation party, baby shower, work parties, engagement party, and more!!

  • I have lived in MANY apartments and homes throughout my life and I always make sure to make my space super cozy (and its usually renter friendly updates). I talk ALL THE TIME about how important it is to have your space feel clean, tidy, and (most importantly) homey and “your vibe”. Because of that, I started doing studies in interior decorating.

    For multiple reasons (none that are important enough to get into right now) I did not finish my I.D. studies journey… BUT that doesn’t mean I shouldn’t use what I learned in my future homes and share my knowledge with those who need it! SO here we are!

    Like I said, I have fully decorated apartments for students and full homes for myself and well as decorated single rooms with a budget. I have also provided just “inspiration guidance” at an hourly rate to just use my brain and a helping hand :) Theres many ways to go forward with this, so just let me know if you need help!

    I also provide interior “landscaping” services where I go into your home and see what kind of plants should go where! Whether you are looking for natural or artificial, I love making homes look like jungles haha!
    My interior landscaping services go through Kelley Properties, in which I do property management for :) However I do do interior landscaping outside of KP property management, so just reach out if you’re interested!

  • Did you know that 96% of realtors believe that staging a home positively influences a buyer’s decision? Also, a professionally staged home spends 73% less time on the market compared to those without staging. SO it’s safe to say its a good idea.

    My interior decorating knowledge has provided an incredible foundation for staging of homes. Not only that, but being involved in the real estate world (through my property management with Kelley Properties) has allowed me to gain knowledge of what buyers are looking for and specifics with staging that might be different than interior decorating. For instance - (for organizational or aesthetics purposes) in interior decorating we might decide to put a coffee machine on the kitchen counter; but if we were to stage that home, we should put it away to show maximum counter space.

  • I’ve always had a knack for making and creating, especially painting and other forms of art. I have also lived on my own for a while which (combined with my extensive knowledge of handy work from being raised by my father) gave me a lot of practice in building and making stuff out of nothing. Because I also dabbled and studied interior decorating for a while, I have a very unique eye for spaces and their bones.
